It's a day I look forward every year. My annual trip to the farmer's market to buy some blooms for my little garden. Maybe some folks consider the first nice day of the year to be the start of Spring, or the first day they can wear sandals. For me, Spring isn't here until I make that trip to the market and leave with an armful of the sunniest flowers. It's the day where I can finally be confident that the danger of frost is over. What a day!

And the perfect attire for a day at the market? This delightful circle crop top I recently got at H&M. The crop top trend is still going strong and I love the extra element of flouncy fun in this one! I'm sure I've said it before, but I'll repeat it again: if you're not so confident about your middle bits, pairing a crop top with a nice high-waisted bottom is an easy way for anyone to enjoy this fabulous trend, well into the summer.

Leather Pants Puzzle

Putting together an outfit is like putting together a puzzle. Not in that there's only one right answer, but the pieces do have to fit together just so. It's that same satisfaction and triumph in finding the perfect shoe or earring to pull an outfit together.

No question about it, this outfit is built around these faux leather pants, a staple in any fashion lover's portfolio. Throw on a warm cardigan, a pair of aviators and all you cool cats need is a wall to lean on. Check, check and check.

Tropical Vacation: Part 1

Hey Frockers! It's Debbie and I'm now back in Montreal after spending a week in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. As expected, the weather was crazy hot and I did well by packing my favourite summer attire. What's great about a tropical vacation in the off-season is that you get to wear all your new summer pieces that you grabbed at the end of the season for dirt cheap on the sale rack and haven't really gotten a chance to wear yet (orange shorts seen below purchased for 7$).

Weekend Whimsy

I call it my weekend uniform: the all-purpose unitard. Wear it with a maxi skirt, cozy sweater, to dance class, you name it! And just for good measure, I like to throw in a vintage handbag ($2 at a church flea market.)
