White Dream

A November vacation gives you one last chance to relish in your favourite white fabrics. I think I spent most days in this lightweight white dress (which I believe I found in the pyjama section of the Joe Fresh store) and what great days those were! Coming back to the chilly weather in Montreal, it almost feels like the vacation never happened but these pictures certainly remind me that it wasn't too long ago I was enjoying the ocean breeze... sigh.
Alas, it's time to get into the holiday spirit and pull out the chunky sweaters and the sparkle. I'm ready now!

Wet Hair, Don't Care

After a long summer of work, work, work, I was finally able to take a vacation. After many months fantasizing about the beach, we finally decided on the charming island of Saint Martin. This island is definitely unique to the Caribbean as it is split between two sides, The Dutch side and the French side. I definitely recommend this destination to everyone as the beaches are breathtaking and the European influence is quite a charming aspect as well.
Here I am rocking my wet curly hair which doesn't bother me at all because I'm in vacation mode.  This simple white dress also has the perfect, simple silhouette which I wish I had more of in my wardrobe. All in all, a very happy moment!

A Breeze, the Beach...and a Floral Dress

Hey Frockers! Hope everyone had a great weekend. The weekend here in Montreal was a real rude awakening that winter is almost here. The weather reached the negative numbers and the wind was absolutely chilling. To distract ourselves from this reality, I'm posting my final little instalment of tropical vacation photos. Here is yet another example. This simple, elegant Joe Fresh one-piece was just calling my name and spared me absolutely no mercy with it's 7$ price tag! Enjoy!

Miami Moments: Part 3

Miami Moments: Part 2

Here I am on day 2 of my Miami trip still lounging around and feeling blissful. I picked up this easy cotton dress at H&M the week before and loved the strangely glam black and gold pattern. It really reminded me of clothing my grandmother used to wear (she was pretty glam) so it was a must-have.
