1) Separate your hair into two sections

2) Braid one side and then tie it so it doesn't undo itself

3) Braid the other side and pull it over the top of your head to the other ear

4) Pin the braid in place with one or two bobby pins

5) Untie the first braid and pull it over the top of your head tucking the ends underneath the other braid

6) Insert lots of bobby pins to hold the braids in place!
                                                     

Jackie's Hair Tutorials: Fishtail Braid

1) Tie a loose side ponytail (it's easier to control your hair that way)

2) Separate the ponytail into two sections

3) Take a small part of the back of one section and pull it over the top of the same section from the outside
4) Join the small section of hair with the other larger section

4) Repeat for both sections of hair, alternating between sections, until you reach the bottom of the ponytail

5) Lastly, move the hair tie from the top of the ponytail to the bottom and secure the braid!

                                                               

Jackie's Hair Tutorials: Faux Bob

As most of you know, I recently chopped off my luscious locks but for those of you who hesitate to do the same, here's how to get a cute bob without the commitment.

1) Curl your hair loosely.

2-3) Separate your hair into three sections and braid the bottom half of each section. Secure braids.

4-6) Wrap each braid around your finger and roll them upwards on the inside.
7-8) Pin the braids into place with bobby pins.

                                                     

Jackie's Hair Tutorials: Twisty Top Bun

1) Tie your hair in a tight high ponytail, and separate the ponytail into two sections

2-3) Separate one section into another two smaller sections and twist them around each other

4) Wrap the finished twist around the base of the ponytail and pin into place with a bobby pin

5-6) Repeat steps 2-4 for the other section of hair

7-8) Screw in two spiral pins (one from the front and one from the back) and additional bobby pins if necessary to secure the bun

1) Select a 2-inch section of hair behind one ear

2) Braid that section of hair to the tip

3) Pull braid over top of your head to the other ear

4) Pin braid into place with one or two bobby pins
