Debbie and I recently had the pleasure of attending the Converse Spring 2016 Preview event at their new Canadian headquarters in Old Montreal. Every year, we are more and more intrigued by their unique take on footwear. Tons of bright colours, and unique patterns and materials seem to be a staple their Spring launches. This year, the crotched high-tops caught Debbie's eye while I was simply ticked pink by the Chuck II Reflective Print Collection featuring patterned sneaks that have portions that light up and sparkle in photos taken with flash. Their new headquarters also feature a pretty unique Converse chandelier and other art pieces that perfectly accentuate the feel of their brand. We can't wait to see what they come up with next!

A Little Spring in your Step
Skirt and Tee: Joe Fresh / Jacket and bag: Thrifted / Shoes: Converse / Hat: Target
With this sudden burst of warm spring weather, I'm starting to feel inspired by fashion again. I, along with many of you I'm sure, was experiencing a bit of a winter slump. But finally, I can say I feel revived. No more black clothes, I'm all about white, white shoes, white jean jacket, bring it on!

Converse Fall 2014 Preview
This week I attended a press preview for the Converse Fall 2014 collection. As always, Converse stays true to its original design but always offers us some fun new twists.
For example, I think everyone knows how much I enjoy a good leopard print!
And then more on the practical side, these new waterproof sneakers. I was so happy to discover these for those people who still wear their Converse in winter...no more soaked feet!
And here we have so many fun new prints and textures!
Below are part of the Jack Purcell line and they feature this comfortable cork insole. A nice touch.
Also, check out these little animal sneakers for the kiddies! Adorbs!
All in all, a fun little preview of a brand we all love. Converse is definitely an iconic shoe and it will always hold a special place in the fashionista heart. Special thanks to Micki at Converse for having us!
