I don't think there is anything simpler than this easy summer outfit. What I love most about it are the fun little details which make it more interesting: the eyelet hem on the dress, the silver sandals, the lace detail on the hat and the fun striped tote. You can't go wrong with this!

Most fashionistas would agree that autumn and spring are probably the most fashion friendly seasons of the year where interesting layering takes place and rich colours and textures abound. However, I tend to disagree. My ideal weather has always been those really hot, humid days of summer where you don't even have to ask yourself "Should I bring a sweater just in case?" I love the feeling of that heavy humidity giving me a warm hug and I especially love wearing a tube top without the fear of being cold. So here I am in one of my best summer outfits...Enjoy! 

Thomas Sabo AW 14

This week I attended the launch event for the new Thomas Sabo Autumn Winter 2014 collection. The event was held at the beautiful Beatrice restaurant where the lounge area was transformed into a hip, sexy showroom.

As an internationally recognized jewelry brand, Thomas Sabo is nothing short of stunning. The new collections that were featured at this event were extremely elegant and I especially loved their rose gold pieces. So classy!

The Karma Beads line is also a big part of the Thomas Sabo collection featuring an immense variety of different beads that can be mixed and matched into chic bracelets. Additionally, the Charm Club line is another mix and match collection featuring the most expansive variety of unique and cute charms I have ever seen. Once again, the designs were very tasteful and very elegant.  

Not just for the ladies, these Thomas Sabo men's watches were a pleasant surprise and were also very sharp!

As usual, we also enjoyed some fabulous finger food!

Eyelash Perm: Before and After

Frockers, you're gonna have to bear with me on this post because I;m actually on the road right now and have never tried to post via the blogger app. But I just wanted to share some pics of this recent beauty procedure I tried for the first time. 

My eyelashes are unfortunately short, sparse and stick straight. There may never be a miracle fix for me to get those long luscious lashes I want but I tried eyelash perming for the first time after months of curiosity and the results are actually not bad. They look very similar to the effect of a regular curling iron but I noticed two immediate differences. One being they keep their curl after getting wet and two being I can wear regular mascara now and the curl keeps. Straight lashes tend to go back to being straight with regular mascara even after you curl them. I used to always use waterproof mascara which isn't the best for your lashes. 

I would recommend you go to a good place to get it done though, if you're interested. I did notice a few of my lashes were a bit scraggly, from being moved from their proper position when the solution was in. 

As for how long the curl lasts depends on me. Eyelashes naturally fall out after 3-4 weeks so I was hoping to be able to ditch the curler for my latest international adventure and have perfectly curled lashes on the go!
